What is the plan?

Many people, throughout the world, participate of the 16 Days of Activism and as WiA, through our project Save a Tamar, we make of these 16 Days the anchor work of our cause.
What did we plan for the days ahead?
We start this period on Wednesday, 25th offering counselling for women who have been through, are going through abuse or have ghosts of the past still tormenting them.
You can contact us through the following channels:

  • Website: www.womaninaction.co.za
  • Email: woman2woman@uckg.org.za
  • Help Line: 0861 330 320
  • BBM Channel: Save a Tamar
  • FB page: Save a Tamar
We will be working by appointment so that we can assist the greatest number of women that call upon our help.

There is no fee involved at all and we are part of this program because many of us are survivors willing to bring tools for inner healing to those who are today in the same despair that we faced years ago.

If your are not from Gauteng, you can still send us a message and we will indicate our closest branch to assist you.

On the 29th November, 2:30pm, in our headquarters at 25 Plein Street - Auditorium B1, we will do a meeting of awareness and empowerment. The same meeting will be hosted in the following branches: Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Durban, East London, Kimberley, Pietersburg, Port Elizabeth, Rustemburg, Tswana,  Umtata, Vaal Triange,Welkom and Lesotho.

As our final mark to the campaign, we will do our closing words on the 10th of December, 5pm, in all the branches mentioned above, in a special meeting directed to love life due to the fact that so much domestic violence occur in relationships.

We are committed to keep confidentiality, not to impose judgement, and respect the final decision of every person we will counsel.

Do not let this opportunity to speak out, seek for help, overcome your past and have a new beginning.

Remember this always: "Say No to Low Self Esteem, You Have Value"
