FAST OF DANIEL - DAY TWENTY-ONE

What a day!
And you will receive POWER when the Holy Spirit comes upon you!
This is our faith for this day and if you nurture the same faith – today you will see God face to face, you will be born of Him, will be filled with His fire and you will know the true meaning of the word POWER.
Power to bear witness of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, power to bear witness to eternal life, power to overcome every challenge ahead because who is born of God overcomes the world.
From Mount Hermon, the Lord will command the blessing – Life forevermore (Psl 133:3)
So consecrate this day to the Lord, may the Holy Spirit be the center of thoughts and may you start a brand new life with Him.
Day 21 – What a day! Just surrender to His presence and receive power forevermore.

FAST OF DANIEL - DAY TWENTY

Tomorrow is the great day; from Mount Hermon a blessing will be bestowed upon all those who believe, all those who have surrendered and sacrificed throughout these 21 days.
It is not a blessing for everyone alike; the criteria has been your commitment to the purpose of this Fast.
The greatness of tomorrow surpasses all our human understanding. It is not matter of just preparing oneself for this meeting, reading the Word of God and confirming with your words that what Jesus promised will be fulfilled tomorrow.
You need to believe with your Spirit for whatever comes from God is reserved to those who adore Him in Spirit and in truth.
God is Spirit so we can only grasp what He has in store for us if we walk in Spirit.
This is the reason many read the Bible but do not understand what God is talking to them directly.
They know Bible passages by heart, they repeat them over and over, they preach the same word but they have no understanding on how to apply that Word in their own life.
As you prepare yourself for tomorrow, allow the Spirit of God to speak with you.
Tomorrow is the day of putting a life of defeat, insecurities and complexes behind. Tomorrow is the day of meeting our Lord face to face and receiving His DNA.
Prepare yourself with fast and prayer, prepare yourself with a contrite heart, and prepare yourself with sincerity and transparency.
Tomorrow it will be the day of the new covenant – total surrender to the only One who can save your soul.
“ who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit” for the letter kills but the Spirit gives life” (2 Cor 3:6)
Day 20 – Put your knowledge of the Bible and years as a Christian all aside; seek for the Spirit and receive life.

FAST OF DANIEL - DAY TEN

One of the greatest challenges is to keep your mind focused on what is uplifting and positive.
If I tell you now: give me something positive about you – I am sure it will take about 2 minutes before you can give me an answer.
But on the other hand if I ask you to give me something negative – in less than 10 seconds a few things come to your mind.
Why we are so easily taken by what is self destructive and negative?
Without noticing one may use the same principle towards the Holy Spirit. You have joined the 21 Days Fast, you are praying, coming to church as many times as you can but at the same time, you accommodate doubts about receiving the Holy Spirit.
You believe the Holy Spirit is real but maybe not for you, so you think.
So God wants to pour His Spirit on every creature, and it includes you, but you don’t believe His promise to be true.
You have been fighting against negative thoughts and doubts but it seems not to be overcoming so let me help with God’s “medicine” against bad thoughts and doubts:
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. (Phi 4:8)
Day Ten – surrender to God your bad thoughts and learn to meditate on all that is noble, pure, lovely and just. Meditate on the greatness of the Holy Spirit in you.

Fast of Daniel - Day Five

If we want God’s 100%, we should in exchange offer Him our 100%, right?
The Holy Spirit is His 100% and sometimes one may not receive the Holy Spirit or be revived because in actual fact there is a little share that has not been surrendered.
Not something big, easily spotted, but little foxes that come and make part of our life and we don’t even realize they have been around for long.
One point to consider: we say we trust God, we have been to the altar to commit our life to Him, we have materialized our trust through sacrifices but read this question loud:
Do I trust God even when His answer to my prayer is NO? Do I trust that by saying No to my request, He knows better and has another plan for me, which I am in perfect peace to abide to?
Have you notice emphasizes to “perfect peace”? Only when we are secure about something we have peace of mind but isn’t that very odd to be in peace with something that is opposing to our plans?
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight (Prov 3:5-6)
The verse says with all your heart – the centre of your emotions, exactly where one can easily deceive oneself saying words not meant, surrendering but not actually surrendering it all.
However this is the trust we need to have in God when we surrender our life to Him – in an unquestionable or undeniable manner.
Day Five – did I surrender my will, my plans and I am perfect in peace with God’s direction or do I still need to surrender some more?

Fast of Daniel - Day Four

Why the Fast of Daniel is for anyone – those who are not yet baptized with the Holy Spirit but also for those who are? Because it is the opportunity to grow in every way and become a witness of our Lord Jesus on the earth that really resembles His Spirit and not a one of our own.
Few years ago I have made a prayer myself asking God to work in me what needed to be changed and soon after a situation came upon me that required heaps of patience because there was nothing that I could do myself to have it solved. It could not be solved in my time but in God’s time.
And off course I was praying and complaining about that situation and God just pointed to the following verse:
“being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in your will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ” – Philippians 1:6
In other words: “you have asked me to work in your and now you want me to do it in your time?”
As we offered ourselves to God, He has started a good work in us and in every opportunity He is giving continuance to this good work that will be complete on the day of our salvation.
So do not waste your chance to grow, follow the lead of the Holy Spirit, confront yourself, see what is missing, or how light you have been taking your Christian life.
Day Four – day of confrontation – Search deep down if you have already surrendered your all to God – tomorrow we will touch in this area – if not, allow the Holy Spirit to work in you.
